Shin Eun-hye (pen name Shinbi), a Pyeongchang-born artist known as the 'painter of music,' will stage a multimedia exhibition titled 'Seeing Music, Hearing Art – Rhythm of Ok-gye' at the Gangneung Local Food Support Center from July 21 to August 4. The show features 39 works—paintings, photographs, objects, performance, video and sound—based on sounds, visuals and temporal impressions captured while walking through Ok-gye. Eighteen pieces are presented online and 21 on-site. Shin focuses on 'glocal practice,' documenting local industry, nature and residents' lives and translating them into multisensory art informed by classical music and instrument materials. The artist has exhibited internationally, including in New York, London and at Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, and continues to work with Agora Gallery.
