“Nora Noh: First & Forever” at the Kyungwoon Museum in Gangnam spotlights Nora Noh, a pioneering Korean fashion designer now nearly 100, featuring garments she created for Miss Korea contestants, actors and singers. Known for staging Korea’s first fashion show and introducing engineered prints that helped launch ready-to-wear, the exhibit brings together iconic pieces, including a 1984 wrap dress that boosted her U.S. sales after appearing in Harper’s Bazaar. On view through July 16.
“Kim Ho-jung: Between (사이)” at Yeol Bukchon and a hanok in Jongno showcases ceramic artist Kim Ho-jung’s attempt to reposition clay beyond functional craft and tradition into a contemporary art medium. The solo show presents ceramics alongside drawings, photographs and paintings to trace how earth transforms into art. On view through July 11.
