Nongshim Partners with Seoul to Support Couples and Donate Ramen

Nongshim signed an MOU with Seoul’s Women and Family Affairs Office to join the city’s “More Beautiful Wedding” program, which offers free ceremony venues for couples. As the first food company to cooperate on the project, Nongshim will provide selected engaged couples with cash support for studio, dress and makeup ("sdeu-me" — studio, dress, makeup), on-site services such as photo shoots and a photo booth, and return-gift packages featuring Nongshim products. On the wedding day, the number of congratulatory messages written by guests will determine how many Nongshim ramen packs are donated in the couples’ names to Seoul welfare facilities. Applicants will be chosen through a submission process on the city’s “More Beautiful Wedding” website starting June 6 for about a month. Nongshim says the campaign aims to offer practical help to couples, encourage giving, and contribute to addressing social issues like low birthrate and high wedding costs.
