Lotte Department Store will hold a large-scale “Wedding Fair” from July 3–12 for members of its Lotte Wedding Members program, offering enhanced benefits and double “wedding mileage” (a points system that converts to Lotte gift certificates). The membership—open free to engaged or newlywed couples with wedding-related documents—lets members earn wedding mileage for purchases over nine months and redeem up to about 7% of the accumulated amount as Lotte gift certificates. During the fair, purchases from around 160 brands across 12 categories, including luxury labels (e.g., Dior, Prada, Gucci, Bottega Veneta) and high-end jewelry/watch brands (e.g., Graff, Jaeger‑LeCoultre, Piaget), may earn up to twice the usual mileage—so a 5 million KRW purchase could be counted as 10 million KRW for reward calculation. Exclusive events include a private jewelry viewing with Chaumet (쇼메) offering one-on-one consultations and an extra 3% gift certificate for on‑the‑day purchases; first-time mileage earners are entered to win a Lotte Hotel stay (e.g., Signiel); and purchasers can join summer lucky-draw promotions with items like Signiel’s mango bingsu. Lotte aims to capture heightened wedding demand in the busy July season when bridal purchases rise.
