Seoul Jangsu is running a hands-on tasting pop-up called “Jangsu Warehouse” at its Mangwon-dong (neighborhood) publicity space, using the historic site of a former makgeolli (traditional Korean rice wine) brewery and real distribution boxes and bottles to recreate a storage-room atmosphere. Open Saturdays through July 1 from 11:00–18:00, the venue targets young visitors heading to Mangwon Hangang Park (Han River park), nearby residents and foreign tourists, offering samples of signature products—fresh unpasteurized Jangsu draft makgeolli, pasteurized varieties like Wolmae and Dalbit Yuzu, collaborative flavors such as Tizen Kombucha Lemon turned into a popular ‘makgeolli slush’ (frozen slushy)—and convenience-store exclusive items. The space also features a brand history exhibit with old bottles and signs and a giant bottle photo zone for SNS (social media) posts. After a summer break the program will resume on September 5; organizers say they plan to expand and improve the experience as visitor numbers—including MZ-generation couples, sports-goers and foreign visitors—keep growing.
