Small-format perfumes around 10 mL are gaining popularity in Korea as the ‘pixel life’ trend encourages trying many scents in small doses. Luxury niche brands like Ex Nihilo launched 10 mL Eau de Parfum sets exclusively in Korea, boosting sales nearly 98% from Feb–Jun. Other niche houses such as D.S. & Durga and Diptyque also released pocket sprays and 7.5–10 mL limited sets that sold out quickly. Industry observers say consumers prefer mixing small units by season, place, and mood, reflecting both 'pixel life' and 'small luxury' trends. Retailers view minis as a gateway for new customers to later buy larger bottles and plan to expand these offerings.
