Josun Hotel & Resort will launch its first signature beer, Josun Lager, on July 1. Developed with Germany’s Weihenstephan (바이엔슈테판), the lager blends over 110 years of Josun Hotel culinary philosophy with centuries-old Bavarian brewing know-how to create a balanced, clean-bodied beer. Made in a Bavarian classic lager style with cold fermentation and extended lagering, it uses Sapphire, Select and Perle hops for subtle citrus, floral and herbal notes. Alcohol is set at a modest 4.8% to suit lighter drinking trends. From July the beer will be served across nine Josun-operated hotels, restaurants and clubs (including 조선 팰리스 and 웨스틴 조선) and will be offered on draft at up to 20% off through August 31 as a launch promotion.
