South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the South Korean Embassy in Saudi Arabia announced a call for small K-beauty brands to join a ‘K-Beauty Saudi Market Entry Support’ program. Selected firms will collaborate with local Saudi distributors and retailers to secure on- and offline store placements, marketing, and guidance on regulatory compliance. More than 20 local distributors, including Vaits (a major Saudi beauty and wellness distributor), have expressed interest and will help assess applicants during visits to Korea. Eligibility requires small companies to hold cosmetic sales registration or manufacturing registration certificates. Applications are open through July 23. Officials hope the program will diversify exports and spur wider K-beauty growth across the Middle East.
