Sono International Files for KOSPI Listing to Become Global Hotel and Leisure Platform

SonoInternational, part of the Sono Trinity Group, has submitted a preliminary listing application to the Korea Exchange (KOSPI) as it prepares for an initial public offering. The company operates about 15,000 rooms across 21 domestic and 22 overseas locations, and runs diverse leisure facilities including ski resorts, water parks, and a country club. Overseas operations include properties such as Sonovel Haiphong (Vietnam), 33 Seaport Hotel (New York), Waikiki Resort Hotel (Hawaii), Normandy Hotel (Washington, D.C.), and Hôtel Dame des Arts (Paris). SonoInternational reported record 2025 revenue of KRW 968.8 billion and operating profit of KRW 248.2 billion, maintaining operating margins above 20%. The company plans to expand to 55 sites in the Asia-Pacific by 2029 and aims to strengthen its global brand, build integrated hotel-airline services, and diversify its business portfolio after listing.
