The 37th National Tea Enthusiasts Festival (전국 차인 큰잔치) was held at SangSang Platform Wave Hall in Jung-gu, Incheon, jointly hosted by the Korean Tea Culture Association and the Gyubang Darye Preservation Association. Tea practitioners from across the country presented about 70 tea-compatible dishes in a tea-food contest and exhibition to promote and preserve traditional tea culture. Judges including Choi So-yeon (minimum Yeon?—최소연) of the Korean Tea Culture Association’s Gyubang Darye Preservation Group and Choi Mi-ri, Gachon University’s executive vice president, evaluated the entries while guests attended an opening ceremony with a ribbon-cutting. The event attracted citizens who viewed and sampled the creations, highlighting efforts to keep Korea’s tea traditions alive.
