World-class Korean ballet dancers—including Yoon Seo-hoo (Paris Opera Ballet), Jung Seo-hyun (Semperoper Dresden), and Choi Su-jung (Leipzig Ballet)—will perform in Chungbuk’s Eumseong before their Seoul shows. Organizer International Performing Arts Project (IPAP) chose a regional opening to address cultural imbalance and ensure nationwide access to public arts. Tickets are set at an affordable 20,000 won, and the event includes one-day ballet classes and talks by the visiting artists for local students. Several works, including a world premiere by choreographer Heo Yong-soon, will be performed, with many pieces making their Korean debuts. The initiative aims to broaden audiences, inspire young dancers outside Seoul, and lower the barriers to experiencing high-quality performing arts.
