Young Korean artists Kim Jomin (27) and Han Bomi (29) present their first domestic two-person exhibition "PATINA: Traces of Hands" at Gyeongin Museum of Art (Second Gallery) in Jongno, Seoul, running through the 30th. Using knit-based textile art, the show examines marks accumulated over time—"patina"—to explore labor, memory, desire, and social and environmental change. Each artist interprets the concept of "son-ttae (손때)" (patina, the worn surface left by handling) differently, expanding the idea of worn surfaces into the histories of human life and work. Both artists studied knit fashion design at Nottingham Trent University and completed fashion design master’s degrees at the Royal College of Art in the UK. The exhibition is free to enter.
