Jim Dine’s solo show 'My Words and Pinocchio' at Seoul’s Pibi Gallery features his 2026 works including an 180 cm Pinocchio sculpture, eight new drawings and poetic self-drawings. Dine presents an intentionally unfinished Pinocchio—faces and body parts are blurred—to reinterpret the Pinocchio narrative as a journey of suffering, resilience and becoming human. On view through July 4.
At YeongEun Museum in Gwangju, painter Park Hyun-joo’s solo exhibition 'Presence of Light' explores depth and spatial sensation by layering unconventional materials such as gold leaf and pigments. Her latest 'Into Light' series builds up paint on handmade water-based paper to create dense, luminous surfaces that reflect and diffuse light. On view through September 6.
