Gentle Monster Teams Up with Prada — Korea Launch July 31

Gentle Monster, the Korean eyewear brand, has revealed a collaborative collection with Italian luxury house Prada. A teaser video on Gentle Monster’s Instagram features Japanese actor Kento Sakaguchi wearing the eyewear and delivering a poetic reading in a surreal setting, highlighting the collection’s concept and image. The partnership aims to boost Gentle Monster’s presence in the premium eyewear market and follows last year’s collaboration with Maison Margiela. After an initial launch in Japan, the collection will expand to select Asian markets; in Korea it will be available from July 31 at House Dosan, House Seoul, The Hyundai Seoul, Shinsegae Department Store Gangnam, and the brand’s online store.
