Cartier’s Cartier Women’s Initiative (CWI) celebrated its 20th anniversary at a June awards event in Bangkok, where 30 women founders from 19 countries were honored. The program, launched in 2006, provides funding, year-long fellowships, INSEAD-led training, coaching, media training and global networking to social-impact women entrepreneurs. This year three Korean founders were selected among the 30 fellows: Kim Jung-eun of JamJam Therapeutics (1st in East Asia), Kim Hyo-jung of NomadHer, and Park Ha-hyun of Omena Technologies. JamJam offers AI-based rehabilitation games for children with disabilities using only a smartphone camera; NomadHer is a community app for solo women travelers focused on safety; and Omena provides personalized digital care for menopausal women. CWI’s long-term support aims not only to fund ideas but to build capacity, visibility and community so women-led solutions address overlooked social issues globally. (INSEAD: a global business school)
