Korean fashion companies are racing to strengthen services that attract new customers and keep existing ones, aiming to increase brand loyalty by expanding customer touchpoints and quickly addressing complaints. Handum (Hansem), part of Hyundai Department Store Group, launched "StoreTalk" using QR codes at 1,300 stores so shoppers can leave feedback without logging in; feedback led to improved coat packaging. Shinsegae International rolled out digital platform ShinsegaeV and a limited "home perfume sampling" (home scent-testing) service—customers paid only shipping to try two samples and received discount coupons, driving quick sellouts and a 19% rise in new sign-ups. Fashion platform Ably introduced "delivery guarantee" next-day shipping to meet fast-delivery demand and boost repeat purchases. Overall, the focus is on convenience, quick response, and experiential services to deepen customer loyalty.
