Baemin (short for Baedal Minjok) has introduced a built-in "dutch pay" feature—the first among domestic delivery platforms—to simplify splitting bills on its group-order ("hamkke jumun") service. The orderer pays upfront, and after delivery can request payments from participants; the app then automatically calculates each share either equally (1/N) or by each person’s menu items, and users can manually adjust amounts. Payments are sent via Baemin Pay (Baemin Pay money) within the app, so ordering, payment and settlement are handled end-to-end. The feature is rolling out to all users by the end of the month.
