Seoul Foundation Offers Advanced Training for Women Hosts in Shared Accommodation

The Seoul Foundation for Women and Family, together with the Seoul Women's Human Resources Development Center and Airbnb, launched an advanced training program to strengthen women’s practical skills for platform-based shared accommodation startups. Started in 2024 amid rising foreign tourism and a growing shared-stay market, the course focuses on platform listing, booking management, guest service, and revenue management, and includes current host case studies and operational know-how. Classes run at Yongsan Women's Development Center and Western Women’s Development Center, offered in day and evening formats for career-experienced women and workers, with three combined online/offline sessions. Applications are accepted via each center’s website. The foundation says the program aims to help women enter and grow steadily in the platform economy and tourism sector.
