2025 Asian 50 Best Restaurant Awards Boasts Seoul as Host for the Second Year

The prestigious culinary event, '2025 Asian 50 Best Restaurant Awards,' will take place in Seoul from November 22nd to 26th, marking the second consecutive year the city hosts the event. Known as the Oscars of the culinary world, this awards ceremony annually ranks the top 50 restaurants in Asia. In addition to the awards ceremony, there will be discussions involving chefs and F&B industry members about trending topics in gastronomy. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food anticipates increased international interest in Korean cuisine (Hansik) and culture. Notably, six Korean restaurants made the preliminary list from 51st to 100th place. The Ministry will hold promotions and workshops at 'Korea House' on November 25th to showcase Hansik's diverse appeal, featuring talks by chefs and a Korean food market. The aim is to celebrate and further globalize Korean cuisine through this unique event.
