Kumho Tire announced it won two main awards at the 2026 Red Dot Design Awards (an international design competition based in Germany). The company took the Design Concept award for its futuristic modular tire, “Omni Ring,” and earlier won the Product Design award for its on/off-road tire “Roadventure RT,” marking a double victory. The Omni Ring is a modular tire designed for future mobility, allowing multidirectional movement and adjustable module counts to fit different vehicle platforms. It features different tread patterns for driving conditions: a herringbone pattern for low noise and rolling resistance in urban use, and block-pattern treads for high-speed stability. Omni Ring also won the iF Design Award this year. Kumho Tire said it will continue developing products and technologies for future mobility environments.
