Artist Lee Seo-ha's solo show 'Schpilaum' runs from June 23–28 at Wonju Public Central Library. The exhibition explores 'Schpilaum'—a space of breathing and reflection where forgotten inner voices can be heard—through calligraphy expanded into painterly scenes. Brushstrokes become both letters and landscapes; black ink sometimes suggests mountains and wind, while the blank spaces between strokes hold memories and emotion. Lee says the widest space we seek may already exist within us and hopes visitors find their own 'Schpilaum' (a coined term meaning a margin for breathing and self-reflection). A "meet the artist" session is scheduled for June 26 at 11 AM, supported by the Wonju Cultural Foundation.
