Yunchan Lim Named Opus Klassik Instrumentalist of the Year

Pianist Yunchan Lim (22) was named Instrumentalist of the Year by Germany’s Opus Klassik for his recording of J.S. Bach’s Goldberg Variations. The Opus Klassik awards, run by the German Classical Music Promotion Association, are among the highest honors in the German classical scene. Other winners in the instrumental category this year include German violinist Christian Tetzlaff and horn player Sarah Willis.
