Digital healthcare startup Farmperm will showcase MealTracker, an AI-powered automatic meal-detection platform, at BIO International Convention 2026 in San Diego (June 22–25). MealTracker passively detects eating events—when, what, and how much is eaten—using data from smartwatches and smartphones without manual input, photos, or app launches. The system records meal and fasting times automatically and is designed to integrate with self-health coaching and medical care pathways, enabling partnerships with pharmaceutical firms, fitness, long-term care facilities, and insurers. Farmperm aims to link meal data with other medical data to provide more complete health management and to use BIO USA as a springboard for global expansion and partnerships. (MealTracker automates meal logging to reduce missing or incorrect dietary records.)
