Oh Hwa-yeon Appointed New Secretary-General of Chuncheon Puppet Festival

Oh Hwa-yeon, former planning director, has been appointed secretary-general of the Chuncheon Puppet Festival. Since joining the festival in 2017, she oversaw planning and operations, expanded domestic and international puppet networks, and led last year’s 24th UNIMA General Assembly & Chuncheon World Puppet Festival, strengthening international collaboration. Oh said she will work to make the festival more accessible to citizens and audiences, boost its role as an international cultural and arts platform, and build sustainable operations. Former secretary-general Hong Yong-min, who led the foundation for ten years from 2016, will continue to support external relations and sponsorship.
