South Korea’s food company The Born Korea (더본코리아) has launched TBK, a YouTube channel and QR-enabled sauce line that links product pouches to step-by-step cooking videos by celebrity chef Baek Jong-won. Trial packs include three bases—spicy stew (매콤찌개), pork stir-fry (제육볶음) and soybean paste stew (된장찌개)—each with large QR codes that open full recipes, ingredient measurements and cooking processes with English subtitles and global units (g/cup). The approach standardizes traditional Korean dishes (한식) for overseas chefs and food businesses, lowering the barrier for menu adoption while using Baek’s strong IP to build both B2B and B2C channels. TBK has already attracted sample requests from the US, Europe and Asia, launched on Amazon in the US, and plans further retail expansion in Canada.
