Bucheon Art Center Unveils Star-Studded Classical Season Featuring Cho Seong-jin and More

Bucheon Art Center announced a rich lineup of second-half season performances featuring top Korean and international classical artists. The season opens July 16 with pianist Cho Seong-jin’s chamber concert (sold out immediately), joined by cellist Kian Soltani and members of the Berlin Philharmonic performing Brahms. August highlights include flutist Kim Yu-bin with baroque master Richard Egarr (duo recital) and organist Benjamin Righetti. In September, pianist Son Yeol-eum holds her first Bucheon solo recital (Sept 12), followed by the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra with pianist Sunwoo Yekwon (Sept 20). October brings a Piazzolla program with Seoul Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra and bandoneonist J.P. Jofre and special organ programs using Bucheon’s 4,576-pipe organ (pipe organ). Additional offerings span jazz and brunch series, Korean traditional vocal performance (gugak) crossover productions, theater, a December appearance by the Paris-based boys’ choir, and the returning Nutcracker ballet.
