Musinsa, a leading K-fashion platform, has expanded into Shanghai with a two-track strategy: curated Musinsa Store and affordable Musinsa Standard. The company opened its first Musinsa Store in a 100-year-old building on Anfu Road (Anfu Lu), a trendy spot for Gen Z, offering Korean designer and local brands, while Musinsa Standard targets mainstream shoppers in busy malls. Since launching online on Tmall and opening stores last year, Musinsa reported rapid growth—over 1 million cumulative visitors across flagship stores in four months and a ninefold jump in online sales after offline openings. Musinsa plans to exceed 10 China stores this year and aims for 100 offline outlets by 2030 with a goal of 1 trillion KRW in China sales, leveraging a partnership with Anta for logistics and distribution.
