Disney's new Roundup Rodeo BBQ at Walt Disney World in Florida recreates the Toy Story world from a toy's point of view. Guests are “picked” by a giant claw machine to enter and receive toy horses to ride to their table, encouraging both adults and children to play the role of toys. The restaurant sits inside Toy Story Land (a large themed area in Disney Hollywood Studios) and features family-style barbecue mains with playful menu names inspired by the films—examples include “Evil Pig Doctor’s Ribs,” “Buttercup’s Beef Brisket,” and a sausage dish riffing on Woody’s line “there’s a snake in my boot” (Woody’s famous phrase). Sides and desserts reference characters and scenes too, such as cheddar biscuits tied to a character’s story and cupcakes topped with the fork toy “Forky.” During the meal, the green army soldier’s voice announces “Andy is coming!” and all guests must freeze in place like toys, creating an immersive, nostalgic experience that aims to revive childhood imagination.
