The city is supporting this trend by covering travel insurance costs up to 5000 KRW per foreign tourist. This initiative extends to package tourists and those who transit for 24 hours or more in Seoul, encompassing coverage for accidents, injuries, and cellphone damage. Seoul aims to continuously boost its tourism appeal through various festivals and aggressive marketing, targeting 30 million foreign visitors by 2026.
