KBS Symphony Orchestra to Perform with Pianist Minsoo Sohn

KBS Symphony Orchestra is set to perform Brahms' Piano Concerto No. 1 with pianist Minsoo Sohn at the Seoul Arts Center on October 21. This marks their collaboration six months after their last concert together. Alongside Brahms, the program includes Richard Strauss's "A Hero's Life," a symphonic poem exploring themes of heroism through vivid orchestration. Minsoo Sohn, known as the mentor to renowned pianist Lim Yunchan, is a prestigious figure who will soon teach at the New England Conservatory in Boston. The concert will be conducted by Yoel Levi, former music director of the KBS Symphony Orchestra.
