Premium ice cream brand Haagen-Dazs is set to raise the prices of its major products, including mini cups, bars, pints, and ice cream cakes, by 8.3% to 16.9% starting July 1. The price adjustment comes approximately two and a half years after the last increase in October 2022. The new prices for mini cups and bars will rise from 5,900 won to 6,900 won, pints from 15,900 won to 17,900 won, and ice cream cakes from 36,000 won to 39,000 won. The increase is attributed to the rising costs of key ingredients like dairy cream and cacao. Other Korean brands, such as Binggrae and its subsidiary Haitai Ice, have also recently adjusted prices for popular items.
