Choi Hayeong, a cellist, and Choi Songha, a violinist, are known as the 'musical sisters' leading K-Classic (Korean classical music). They will perform their first duo concert in Korea at the Lotte Concert Hall on April 30. Hayeong made history by winning the cello section of the Queen Elisabeth Competition, one of the world's top three music competitions, as the first Korean victor. Though they've played duo concerts abroad, this marks their debut duo performance in Korea. Raised in Germany, their sisterly bond strengthened through music. They are eager to share lesser-known musical gems with audiences, emphasizing the responsibility of musicians to introduce hidden treasures. Plans for a duet album are underway, with hopes of future performances including their older sister, violinist Choi Haim.
