Gucci Appoints Demna as New Artistic Director

Global fashion company Kering Group announced the appointment of Demna Gvasalia as the new Artistic Director of Gucci. Demna, who has been redefining high fashion as the Artistic Director of luxury brand Balenciaga since 2015, will begin his role at Gucci in early July. Francois-Henri Pinault, Chairman of Kering Group, expressed enthusiasm about Demna's creative energy and vision at Gucci. Demna also expressed his honor to contribute to a brand he has long admired and looks forward to crafting a new chapter with the team.
