The 24th Damyang Bamboo Festival will be held from May 2nd to 6th in Damyang, South Korea. It features events centered around bamboo, such as bamboo drone flying, bamboo raft riding, and brewing bamboo wine. The festival aims to attract tourists with bamboo sculptures and family-friendly programs, including a pop-up store for Children’s Day. Damyang’s famous bamboo garden, Juknokwon, will host night events and refund tickets as regional vouchers to support the local economy. This festival is recognized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism as a prestigious cultural event.
