South Korean artist Park Min-joon is exhibiting his first solo show in Japan at the Tokyo Gallery+BTAP until April 5th. Established in 1948, Tokyo Gallery+BTAP is Japan's first contemporary art gallery, focusing on Asian modern art. Park's exhibition, titled 'MYŌ', features 15 new works exploring the mystical allure ('MYŌ') seen in fantastic hybrid creatures combining human and animal elements. The artist's themes explore human life, death, dreams, and the creative power of art, aiming to offer fresh perspectives on intimate landscapes of life. Park studied painting in Korea and art material techniques in Japan. His journey includes over ten solo exhibitions and two novels showcasing the intricate links between painting and storytelling.
