Hilton to Open Wellness-Focused Hotel in Busan Gijang in 2028

Hilton has signed a franchise agreement with MS&C to open the Hilton Garden Inn Busan Gijang in 2028. Positioned as a wellness hotel, the property will feature 111 rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, indoor and outdoor pools, spa and sauna, a 250㎡ banquet space, and a private on-site hot spring (온천). Located near attractions like Haedong Yonggungsa Temple and Lotte World Adventure Busan, and close to key medical facilities such as the Dongnam Institute of Radiological & Medical Sciences, the hotel targets long-stay medical tourists and wellness travelers as Busan aims to attract 100,000 foreign medical tourists by 2030. Hilton expects the new hotel to serve rising demand for high-quality accommodation in the rapidly growing tourism and healthcare hub of Gijang, Busan.
