The North Face (brand ambassador: South Korean actor Park Bo-gum and philanthropist Sean) successfully hosted the 2026 TNF 100 Korea trail-running festival in Gangneung, Gangwon Province on April 16–17. The event attracted about 2,200 domestic and international runners across four distances (10 km, new 22 km, 50 km, 100 km), combining competitive racing with sustainability practices. Organizers emphasized eco-friendly measures such as a “Leave No Trace” plogging (running while picking up litter) campaign, reusable cups for all participants, and use of recycled materials for event infrastructure. The North Face’s athlete team performed strongly: Lim Jeong-hyun won the men’s 100 km for a second straight year, Park Su-ji claimed a fifth consecutive win in the women’s 50 km, and other podium finishes highlighted domestic talent. The festival atmosphere was heightened by Park Bo-gum and Sean completing the 10 km course, drawing many spectators. The organizer, Youngone Outdoor, said the event aims to expand outdoor sports culture in Korea while reinforcing brand-community engagement and sustainability-driven initiatives.
