The Jeju Fire Festival, one of Jeju's largest spring festivals, has been completely cancelled due to strong wind and rain. The festival, originally scheduled from March 14 to 16, faced severe weather with winds reaching speeds of up to 25 meters per second. Facilities like tents at Saebyeol Oreum (a hill in Jeju) were damaged, making it unsafe to proceed with the event. Additionally, other damages include a broken traffic light in Gujwa-eup due to the storm. Currently, a heavy snow warning is in effect for mountainous areas, and a high wind warning is in place for all sea areas around Jeju.
