The Consumer Agency released its February dining-out cost report, showing that the upward trend in dining prices continues. The price of a single serving of Kimchi Stew in Seoul has risen to an average of 8500 won (Korean currency). Compared to January's price of 8269 won, this represents a 231 won increase. Over the past few years, Kimchi Stew's price has steadily climbed since surpassing 7000 won in September 2021. Along with Kimchi Stew, the prices of other popular Korean dishes such as Cold Noodles and Samgyetang (Korean chicken soup) have also risen slightly. However, prices for dishes like Gimbap, Jajangmyeon, and Kalguksu remained unchanged this month. The price per serving of Samgyeopsal (Korean BBQ Pork Belly) saw a minimal decrease.
