Shinsegae Department Store Unveils Ultra-Expensive Korean Soju

Shinsegae Department Store in Korea has introduced a premium soju set named 'Haechang Daejanggyeong' by Haechang Brewery, priced at approximately 50 million won (~$37,000 USD). The set features a bottle of high-proof distilled soju (82% alcohol content, 750mL) and a 24k gold cup. This makes each cup of soju worth about 1.37 million won (~$1,012 USD). Haechang Brewery is known for its premium traditional Korean liquor and gained fame when Shinsegae Group's chairman Yoon Jeong-jin endorsed it on social media.
