Yeosu Yeongchwisan Azalea Festival to be Held March 22-23

The 33rd Yeosu Yeongchwisan Azalea Festival will take place from March 22 to 23 at Heungguk Mountain Forest Park and surrounding areas. The festival will feature various events including a traditional Sansinje (a shaman ritual for mountain spirits), a mountain-top concert, nest-making, and azalea pancake making. Visitors will enjoy the scenic view of azaleas in full bloom. The city will control traffic flow and provide temporary parking facilities along with expanded public transportation routes to ensure smooth access. Authorities aim to ensure visitors’ safety and encourage them to create special memories while enjoying the spring atmosphere.
