Gangwon Tourism Foundation launches 'Gangwon Vegan Again' for K-Vegan Travel

The Gangwon Tourism Foundation has announced the 'Gangwon Vegan Again' program taking place in Chuncheon, Hwacheon, and Yanggu. Created to boost regional tourism through vegan culture during '2025-2026 Gangwon Visit Year,' the initiative expands the concept of veganism beyond diet to lifestyle, including cruelty-free fashion and beauty. Programs include a K-Vegan cooking class using local produce, herbal cultivation, and upcycling experiences in Yanggu. The theme extends to Buddhist temple food experiences, temple stays, and related cultural activities in Chuncheon. These efforts aim to establish Gangwon Province as a global K-tourism hub. The foundation's director sees strong potential in promoting Gangwon as a destination for vegan travelers.
