Gwacheon Cultural Foundation opens a replica exhibition of Post-Impressionist masters from June 6 to July 5 at Gwacheon Citizen Hall galleries. The show groups works by Vincent van Gogh, Paul Gauguin, Paul Cézanne and others around each artist’s unique vision and techniques, highlighting how Post-Impressionism expanded Impressionism into diverse directions. Five sections focus on core concepts—emotion and color in van Gogh, primitivism and symbolism in Gauguin, structural form in Cézanne—while including artists like Paul Signac (pointillism) and Henri Rousseau. Interactive programs let visitors experience color theory and composition, aiming to make the exhibition educational and engaging for children and adults. The foundation says the show invites viewers to rethink everyday scenes through the masters’ perspectives.
