Chuncheon Theater Festival Expands Horizons of Citizen Theater

The Chuncheon Theater Festival's '2025 Cultural and Arts Talent Development Program' opens on February 10 at Bomnae Theater, continuing its role in expanding citizen theater. Now in its sixth year, the program has ignited a passion for citizen theater, with graduates previously staging a successful play, 'The Way Home'. The festival offers courses in play directing, acting, and youth empowerment, featuring prominent instructors like Jung Beom-chul, a renowned playwright and director, and Kim Jin-keun, a Lee Strasberg Institute alumnus. The initiative aims to create an environment where citizens can become emerging playwrights, enriching everyday life through theater.
