The Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) and the Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) have collaborated to highlight 30 scenic spots in Korea for Japanese tourists. This initiative aims to draw Japanese travelers to lesser-known regions in Korea, instead of the usual Seoul and its surrounding areas. Popular destinations like Seoraksan and Hahoe Village are included, along with other hidden gems like Saebyeol Oreum in Jeju and Suncheonman National Garden in Jeollanam-do. This strategy is part of a broader effort to decentralize Korean tourism and promote regional attractions.
