Pohang City is welcoming visitors during the extended Lunar New Year holidays with various cultural activities and events at its major tourist spots. On the day of Seollal (Lunar New Year), attractions like the Spacewalk, Century Park, and others will remain open. Special events like traditional folk games, wish-writing, and cultural experiences will take place in venues including the Yeongildae Beach, Songdo Beach, and Homigot New Millennium Memorial Hall, which will offer free entry during the holidays. Traditional market areas will have free parking for an hour to ease visitor access.
