South Korean fast-fashion brand 8SECONDS (by Samsung C&T Fashion) is expanding its menswear lineup with the 2026 spring/summer collection to accelerate growth in the men’s casual market. Responding to rising male demand, the brand emphasizes fast-to-market trend items and Gen Z styles, contributing to steady growth—menswear sales grew about 10% annually from 2020–2025, with cumulative 2026 sales up double digits through February. Popular items include faux-leather outerwear, which saw over 50% year-on-year sales growth. The new collection features a “men” line with genderfluid (젠더플루이드) pieces and polished workwear, and a casual line with garment-dyed tees, trendy graphics, and sporty preppy looks. 8SECONDS also released a collaboration with global brand S.W. Smiley®—known for its smiley icon and digital-generation fanbase—offering items like a vintage dark-tone varsity jacket with Smiley embroidery and garment-dyed graphic tees. The collaboration will be available at key 8SECONDS stores (Myeongdong, Lotte World Mall, Hongdae, COEX) and online via SSF Shop. The menswear team says 8SECONDS aims to become a daily-fashion guide for men by delivering distinctive design and quality to sustain brand growth.
