The National Gugak Center and National Changgeuk Company of Korea both showcase performances titled 'Boheoja' on the same day. 'Boheoja,' originating from China's Song dynasty, became a part of Korean royal court music. It traditionally wishes for the king's longevity and peaceful reign. The National Gugak Center's version, titled 'Haengak and Boheoja,' explores ceremonial music from the Joseon dynasty, enhancing understanding with dramatic elements and featuring AI-generated lyrics for its final part. The National Changgeuk Company's 'Boheoja: He who walks on air,' presents a modern changgeuk (Korean opera) inspired by historical events involving Prince Anpyeong and Sejo, adding a fictional twist. Both performances utilize elements of the traditional court music 'Boheoja.'
