Changwon City Prepares for Jinhae Gunhangje Festival with Cherry Blossom Map

Changwon City in Gyeongsangnam-do is preparing for the 63rd Jinhae Gunhangje, a famous cherry blossom festival, by introducing new tourist attractions and creating a cherry blossom map highlighting 13 local scenic spots for visitors. The city aims to disperse tourist traffic beyond the popular Jinhae Western area by promoting hidden cherry blossom sites throughout the district. This year, the festival will also feature a Navy-themed street, where various events and collaborations will take place. Additionally, after 57 years, the military-controlled Ungdong Reservoir is being opened to the public, offering a new attraction with its historical cherry blossoms.
