The Seoul Spring Chamber Music Festival (SSF), marking its 20th anniversary, will open on April 22. From April 22 to May 4, 14 performances will be held at various venues in Seoul, including the IBK Chamber Hall, Sejong Chamber Hall, and the historic Yun Posun House. The festival's theme, '20 Candles,' pays homage to its two-decade history with innovative programs such as performances featuring music by young composers played by musicians in their 20s, and thematic concerts reflecting its legacy. Among the artists performing are renowned musicians like violinist Danny Koo and new faces such as soprano Hye-Jung Lee. The festival traditionally showcases both classical and popular music, and this year includes a family concert with the French clarinet ensemble, Les Bons Becs. Tickets, available through various platforms, offer discounts for students, with the exception of the special venue concerts at Yun Posun House. This year's promotional poster features artwork by artist Oh Chun-ryong. A series of fringe events will also take place from April 5 to 19 at locations like the Namsan YTN Tower and Seoul Craft Museum.
